What personal data do we process?
This website has a contact form and a newsletter sign-up form. Through these forms we process the data you enter yourself, such as your name and email address and any messages you send.
We do not use analytics tools and do not load external services or embeds. We therefore do not place analytical or marketing cookies through this website.
We do not process any personal data other than what you provide yourself through the forms.
Why do we process this data?
We only use your data for the purposes for which you provide it:
- To answer your question submitted via the contact form.
- To send you the newsletter you signed up for.
Legal basis for processing
We process your data on the basis of the following legal grounds under the GDPR:
- Performance of a contract or taking pre-contractual measures, when you contact us about our services.
- Consent, when you sign up for the newsletter. You can withdraw this consent at any time.
Who receives your data?
We do not share your data with third parties for commercial purposes. The following party processes data on our behalf:
- Startspot, the website platform provider on which Silvar is hosted. Startspot acts as a processor.
When a form is submitted, the messages are stored in the website's inbox and sent by email to the owner.
This website contains no affiliate links and does not refer you to webshops for which we receive a commission. If you go to an external webshop yourself, that webshop's own privacy rules apply.
How long do we keep your data?
We do not keep your data longer than necessary for the purpose for which you provided it. We keep messages from the contact form for as long as necessary to handle your question and not longer than necessary afterwards. We keep newsletter subscribers' data for as long as you remain subscribed. When you unsubscribe, we delete your data, unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the following rights:
- Access to the data we process about you.
- Correction of incorrect or incomplete data.
- Erasure of your data.
- Objection to a processing.
- Restriction of processing.
- Withdrawal of your consent, without affecting the processing that took place before that time.
